Sovereign Compute Summit

Modern war is decided by compute as much as by munitions.

In Ukraine, electronic warfare severs uplinks mid-mission; swarms keep flying but stop adapting. The interceptor programs that scaled through late 2025 lock onto their target optically and then cut the radio link entirely — a signal that does not exist cannot be jammed. Every one of those is a semiconductor decision: what runs on the platform at ten watts, what runs on a forward-deployed node, what still needs a data center in an allied country.

​Europe has neither the silicon nor the architecture. Export controls now reach into EU member states. No European actor builds leading-edge chips independently. And the Chips Act ecosystem — twenty-seven competence centers — has barely touched defense.

​Defense is currently the one chip market in Europe with political urgency and public money behind it. Danish and European SMEs and start-ups need a route to it — and that’s what this summit builds.
